Set Up Instructions

All Perplexity users can access Midpage within Perplexity free of charge, with a capped number of queries depending on your Perplexity Plan (i.e., Pro users get more Midpage queries than Free users).

To use Midpage in Perplexity, you must activate the connector manually:

• Type @midpage before your prompt; or
• Click +, then navigate to Connectors and select Midpage

This path does not require an active Midpage license.

Continue With a Midpage License

Access to Midpage through Perplexity’s built-in connector for Midpage is subject to usage caps that depend on your Perplexity Plan. If you reach your cap on Perplexity and hold a Midpage license, you can keep going by adding Midpage as a custom connector:

• In Perplexity, go to Connectors → Manage Connectors → Add Custom Connector.
• For the MCP server URL, enter https://app.midpage.ai/mcp.
• Give the connector a name, such as Midpage Custom, then click Add.
• On the Manage Connectors page, click Midpage Custom, then click Add Connector. You’ll be taken to Midpage to sign in with your username and password.
• Back in the chat, make sure Midpage Custom is selected as a connector, then ask your legal research questions.

This path requires an active Midpage license.
