How does usage-based pricing work?
Every month, you will get $25 worth of credits to use drafting mode. Once you have exhausted those credits, you will incur a monthly charge based on how much you use drafting mode.
How much will I be billed each month?
How much you are billed will depend on how much you use drafting mode. To get a rough sense, we give you $25 worth of credits free each month. You can use the free usage to estimate how much drafting mode will cost based on how heavily you use the feature.
What does the charge consist of?
The charge is primarily AI costs from our AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, and Anthropic), plus a small markup. We give you the first $25 of drafting credits for free each month. After that, we pass the AI costs off to you plus a small markup.
Can I check how much I have incurred so far?
Yes, at any point, you can click on Account > View Usage to view your current usage.
Do I get charged for using features other than drafting mode?
No. All features, including our search and regular chat mode, are included in your subscription. The only additional charge is for Drafting mode. To avoid an additional charge on top of your base subscription fee, you can opt not to use Drafting mode.
